auto injury claims for pain and suffering?

I was a passenger in an auto accident the driver was at fault. Her insurance is going to offer me a settlement for pain and suffering and my medical bills and wages. medical and wages are about 00. What is the general amount I should settle for. I had a whiplash, sternum injury and deep tissue injury to my shoulder and back and chest.

My wife hits the back of a car at about 3-5mph from static… there was no damage caused at all to either vehicle not even a scratch. So how can her insurance company pay out two whiplash claims totally uncontested. It’s ridiculous that this is allowed to happen when it is blatant fraud. You’ve more chance of getting whiplash from sitting down to fast on your sofa. Also I buy a new build house pay 10% deposit amounting to £10k and a survey of a plot of land for £400 I also had a mortgage garantee in place. The builders delay the house by 6mths and my garantee expires. When I renew it I’m declined. My old home is sold, my children are in new schools and my £10,400 is none refundable! Why is money constantly extorted from people who don’t have it? Which is the bulk of us and we constantly sit back and alow this to happen?

I’ve seen a specialist and he says i will take 18 months to fully recover with help from a chiropractor, my lawyer is looking to now settle my claim but i’mnot sure what to expect as an offer, anyone know what my claim is likely to settle for?

i had a car crash my passenger is claiming, i am a wrong in this accident. how much approx will my passenger get for whiplash.

straight after the crash we went hospital and they let her go in 1 hour with no medicines she only had a head ache, so not much injury not even sure if its whiplash just some pain in shoulder from seat belt.

I keep seeing drivers using mobile phones whilst driving up and down my street.

What would be the legal position, say if a pedestrian was hit by a driver whilst on a mobile phone? What’s to stop pedestrians or other drivers deliberately throwing themselves on to moving vehicles/crashing into drivers who can be seen on their mobile phones, and then faining some kind of whiplash/injury and claiming compensation? (UK only please)

I was in an accident on Oct 12, 2003 in Salem Oregon, a little under 4 years ago. I was driving and was rear ended causing my vehicle to be pushed into the vehicle in front of me. My 2001 Dodge Neon which was totaled. I had severe whiplash had to seek medical attention and couldn’t go to work. I had liability insurance and my insurance paid me NOTHING (I had Country Insurance) but paid out the other parties. They told me I was at fault, because in Oregon if you rearend someone it is automatically your fault. I still have pain in my neck and was involved in a similar accident recently BUT I was the person in the front and my insurance (Farmers)told me the party that was liable was actually the vehicle that initially caused the whole accident the car in the end. SO I called Country insurance to see who was liable for the accident in 04 and they said me! I explained to them that this wasn’t correct. Should I get a lawyer. How long do I have to reopn the case? HELP

hey i was on a bus nd a car cut across us illegally, the bus had the swerve and slam on sending me and numerous other passengers flying, ive got whiplash (i looked up symptoms and have pretty much everything like pins and needles (not the good kind) and a headache, and a shit load of pain in my neck and collective lower back) ive had recent back problems already but can i claim for compo…..or not.
btw i am no lazy bum….i do have a job but theres nothing like a bit of extra cash for christmas…..cath my un lazy drift
I have been the hospital and they said i have teared muscles in my upper back and neck and my lower back has strained muscles that have been hurt more by previous back injuries…….so no its not fraudulent, its truth…..and now its not self diagnosed anymore……
